A Floating Highway

A Floating Highway was a 40 minutes performance/happening on the 30th of May 2009. Four aircrafts produced a 160 kilometer long cloud, mirroring the entire route of A1 highway (from Amsterdam to the German border). This project was commissioned by Kunstenlab Deventer.

Public along the route filmed this performance. A collection of footages from about hundred private filmmakers, using various kinds and quality video equipment, was edited into a complete registration of the floating highway.

The documentary film A Floating Highway was showed as one of the art works in IAMA1 manifestation on A1 highway in East Holland during the summer of 2009.
